The challenge
The project consists of achieving a Baggage Handling System dedicated to Games 2024 within a very short time (9 months) and allowing remote check-in. The other particularity of the project is to proceed with check-in remotely at the athlete's village.
The Solution
The solution is based on :
5 baggage handling lines
- Automated software solution based on PLCs, HMIs, baggage tracking
- Interface with baggage reconciliation and tracking system
- Primary and secondary lines for normal and oversized baggage
- Integration of several screening machines from distinct manufacturer brand
