Le désign de Dubai World Central par COOP HIMMELBLAU

Austria's Coop Himmelb(l)au architectural firm unveiled the design for the expansion of Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International Airport) (ME Construction News, 11-Sep-2024). The expanded airport will be able to handle 260 million passengers p/a with five parallel runways, artificial intelligence (AI) passenger processing capabilities and 407 gates. The project is scheduled to enter the planning phase in 2024, with Phase I of the terminal to be complete by 2032.
